Lee G. Vickers
Mr. Vickers is a shareholder in the firm, concentrating his practice on the litigation and resolution of civil disputes in state and federal courts from trial through appeal, the structuring of commercial real estate transactions, including sale/purchase and leasing, the structuring of business entities, the negotiation and implementation of contracts and the handling of ad valorem tax matters.
Since 1995 and currently, Mr. Vickers has handled many transactions for landowners of convenience store operations, and in connection with the wholesale distribution of fuels in and around central Texas. This representation includes property acquisition and financing, city planning, lease structuring and financing, administrative proceedings and lease litigation.
Since 1985 and currently, Mr. Vickers has represented computer resellers in the Hewlett Packard domain.
Since 2004 and currently, Mr. Vickers has handled litigation arising out of golf course development, including current representation of litigation trustee in bankruptcy matters.
Since approximately 1993 and currently Mr. Vickers represents the Hays Central Appraisal District in its Texas Constitution and Texas Tax Code litigation and responsibilities, and in its property valuation and personnel matters. Mr. Vickers has also represented the Caldwell Appraisal Review Board. Mr. Vickers has on occasion represented taxpayers in disputes with other appraisal districts and appraisal review boards in Texas in commercial valuation disputes and in agricultural use matters.
Mr. Vickers lectures in the areas of commercial leasing and property tax.
